DAVID NAVAZIO
Partner

With a history as CEO of several profitable ventures, David Navazio is a successful businessman driven by innovation and a passion for exceptional restaurants.

Offering high-end, authentic Italian cuisine in Ristorante LUCCA’s Restaurant & Lounge, the opportunity for LUCCA Ballroom private events, and upscale professional LUCCA Catering for off-site events of any size, David is pleased to bring more jobs and new opportunities for dining and entertainment to the region.

As co-founder of Ristorante LUCCA, David made the decision to invest in the business and do what was necessary to take it to the next level, rather than see the previous struggling restaurant sold off and torn down. Today, David’s vision to transform the space into a popular local destination for authentic, high-end Italian food in Bordentown, NJ has become a reality.

Inspired by its award-winning Italian Chef Maurizio Peccolo, Ristorante LUCCA’s focus is on freshness, quality, and tradition, while delivering an upscale Italian dining and entertainment experience with a modern twist that will keep visitors and guests coming back again and again.

Aside from his role at Ristorante LUCCA, David is also President and CEO of Gentell, the country’s fastest growing wound care company, where he oversees all aspects of Gentell operations, including sales, account management, manufacturing, business, and product development.

Earlier in his career, David founded a home medical equipment and respiratory company, which was a leader in the industry and the first company to develop wound-healing protocols exclusively for nursing homes. These protocols were the preamble of Gentell, and revolutionized wound care through education and treatment options.

In 2022, David was named an Honorary Commander and Civic Leader with Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst (JD MDL). The program is a joint venture between military and civilian leaders which pairs an Honorary Commander from the surrounding communities with JB MDL commanders at the squadron, group, and wing levels. The program helps to increase awareness and understanding of JB MDL by introducing civic leaders to the missions, people, challenges, triumphs, and day-to-day operations of organizations at the joint base.

David also serves as Board Chair Emeritus of Pearl S. Buck International. He is Trustee of Liguori Academy in Philadelphia and has been involved with many charitable organizations, including as the Assistant Governor for Rotary District 7510, past president of the Rotary Club of Trenton, NJ, and Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, West Central New Jersey region.
